Today I’m sharing Christina and Hunter’s engagement adventure around my home in Historic Ellicott City! They danced on Main Street and got snuggly in the forest on the Trolley trail. They are getting married at Main Street Ballroom and I can’t wait to shot at this new venue that’s walking distance of my home.
Here is a piece of their love story from Christina: Hunter and I have been together for a little over two and a half years. We met in college and pretty much fell head over heels for each other. Hunter proposed to me the night before my birthday, December 28th, at the restaurant we went to for our first anniversary. It’s called Mountain Branch and its this adorable golf clubhouse. The whole place was still decorated for Christmas and was so romantic. He requested a seat right next to their wood fireplace and hid the ring box in a little nook next to the fireplace. The ring box was empty except a little post-it that had a written promise to himself for when was going to propose to me by. He wrote it two months after we started dating. When I looked up from the note he was on one knee in front of me. I was, of course, crying like a baby as I was reading the note so that was, I’m sure, a lovely sight for him.
Christina and Hunter are excited to have their family and friends come together to celebrate their love and commitment to one another. They are family centered folks and this will be the first time a lot of their family members have met. Christina is close with her sisters and they will be standing as her co-maids of honor. They will celebrate under the October sky and I can’t wait to capture all of the magic.
