Holy moly guacamole, today you’re in for a treat. I’m sharing Kristen and Jake’s epic earthy wedding at Whitehall in Annapolis, Maryland. Kristen played lacrosse at the University of Maryland as did Jake’s brother Quinn for the men’s lacrosse team. Jake played lacrosse at Georgetown and would visit Maryland since it is only about 30 minutes away. After a few times of meeting each other, he finally invited Kristen to his lacrosse team’s formal. The rest is history folks. Jake proposed to Kristen while they were traveling in Ireland. (Epic choice Jake!) They had only been in town for about an hour and after a walk on the beach Jake asked Kristen to do life together forever.
Their day was filled with true community, family, and friendship. They had 24 people in their bridal party including the flower girls, which made for some crazy awesome portraits. It was wonderful to see their favorite folks rally around them to celebrate their love story! The Chesapeake Bay and historic Whitehall served as the perfect backdrop for their wedding story. Their night ended with donuts and an insane dance party (someone ripped their pants and wasn’t wearing underwear, don’t worry I didn’t include that below haha). Also, I had a hard time keep myself together during Kristen first look with her Dad. Their relationship was key in telling this story. Here are some of my favorite images from Kristen and Jake’s earthy Whitehall Annapolis wedding story!
