Tom and Xinyi met through Tinder a little over 3 years ago. After connecting in person, the two of them soon began dating! Before he met Xinyi, Tom had plans to move away from Baltimore and begin a new stage of life in the Pacific Northwest. However, after falling in love with Xinyi, he ended up staying in the area! Soon after, the two of them moved into a cute home in the Federal Hill area of Baltimore. As for Tom and Xinyi’s love story, the rest was history! After getting engaged, Tom and Xinyi are now making things official! They are getting married at the George Peabody Library for their Baltimore Maryland wedding this summer in July.
For their engagement session, Xinyi and Tom invited me to their home in the Federal Hill area of Baltimore.
After spending the evening with these two, I was able to capture their day-to-day lifestyle. We enjoyed an evening of playing with their sweet pet dog and even making some fresh avocado toast! For the rest of our time together, we set out to explore the cobblestone streets of Fells Point.
During the start of the engagement session, I had both Xinyi and Tom think of one reason why the other is important to them. Later in the evening, I had the two of them share these thoughts with one another. When Tom shared with Xinyi some of the reasons why she is important to him, she began to well up with tears. Luckily, Tom was prepared for the reaction and even had a tissue ready to hand to Xinyi! Capturing the love shared between these two made my job easy. I can’t wait to photograph their Baltimore Maryland Wedding in less than a month!
