Today I’m sharing one of my favorite spring weddings from this past April! I loved serving this couple as their Baltimore wedding photographer. While Victoria is originally from NYC, Cooper is from Maryland. However, these two met in Bangkok, Thailand! After graduating from Loyola in 2011, they moved back to Thailand. It was there in Thailand that they taught at a local high school.
While living in Thailand, they traveled to the Philippines, Hong Kong, and many beautiful beaches. However, they moved back to America in 2012. Since then, Victoria and Cooper have shared many life experiences. These included moving across state lines, graduating school, facing unemployment, and fighting illness. However, all of these life experiences helped the two grow together as a couple. For this reason, Cooper proposed in 2016. The couple got engaged on a November day during a hike at Patuxent State Park. Naturally, the couple celebrated with dinner at Momofuku in DC. Needless to say, Asian food is their passion!
Victoria and Cooper originally planned to have their wedding at Church and Company. However, the venue shut down before their wedding date! Because of the closure, many couples in the Baltimore area were impacted. Even though the venue closed, communities on social media joined together to support those impacted. Baltimore Center Stage came to the rescue and provided an incredible space for Victoria and Cooper. This venue is right at the heart of Mount Vernon.
Here are some of my favorite frames from their wedding story:
