I started capturing weddings in 2011 and have been full time since 2014. I’ve seen a TON of Maryland and Baltimore wedding venues in that time! Like oh my goodness I didn’t know there were so many places you could get married! I offer help to couples at all stages of the planning process and therefore I wanted to create a post about the best Maryland wedding venues. There are a TON of incredible venues in Maryland but I wanted to give a shoot out to a few!
Here are some of my ALL TIME favorite Baltimore and Maryland wedding venues!
Mt. Washington Mill Dye House
This wedding venue is filled with unique industrial textures and has the raddest underpass close by for portraits! (Who knew under a highway was an awesome spot for portraits!?) Both of the caterers offered at this location are INCREDIBLE. I also may be a little biased towards this venue because this is where Tony (my boyfriend) and I met! He wrote about how incredible Cooper’s Kitchen’s short rib was in his journal before writing about meeting me. I get it.
Gramercy Mansion
This wedding venue has a cozy garden cottage feel. If you’re looking for organic green backdrops in Baltimore, this is your spot!
Cloisters Castle
A Castle wedding venue in Baltimore!? HECK YES! This location has all of the Hogwarts vibes and makes you feel like you’re in Europe. Johnny Depp was also at this location for a John Waters film!
Brittland Manor
This wedding venue has an epic manor house for you to get ready and stay in ALL WEEKEND LONG! That’s right, you and some of your wedding guests can stay at this venue for the weekend! Brittland has a ton of ceremony location options, it’s on the water, has open fields, a tree lined drive and a stunning sunset. This is one of my absolute favorite Eastern Shore wedding venues!
Peabody Library
Who doesn’t want to get married in an EPIC location!? This is hands down one of the most beautiful places in Baltimore City. You will not regret booking this Baltimore wedding venue!
The Winslow Room
This venue is fairly new and DANG is it a dream industrial wedding venue. It’s a sister venue with the Mt. Washington Mill Dye House, which means they both have the same incredible caterers! This Baltimore wedding venue has a rooftop for portraits and a lot of unique textures throughout it’s interior. I love it!
Rawlings Conservatory
Do you really like plants (even if you can’t keep them alive)?! Then this might be the nature filled wedding venue you’ve been looking for! This venue looks straight out of a Wes Anderson film. It has a Mediterranean House, Tropical House, Desert House, Orchid Room, Palm House, and outdoor gardens! Also, you do not have to worry about a rain plan because the ceremony space is indoors even though you feel like you’re in a garden oasis!
Antrim 1844
A Maryland wedding venue that is filled with gardens, golden light, and history. This is another venue where you can get ready on site, which helps the flow of a wedding day.
Tidewater Inn
I have been capturing weddings at the Tidewater Inn for seven years! Every time I’ve captured a wedding story at this Eastern Shore venue, I’ve had an incredible experience with their staff. They are organized, kindhearted, and you will think about the food for years to come! The town of Easton, Maryland is beautiful and makes you instantly feel at home.
Elope on Sugarloaf Mountain!
Ok, so this is not technically a wedding venue, but a bigger wedding isn’t for everyone! Eloping is a great option for couples who are looking for an intimate celebration! I offer weekday elopement collections for weddings with less than 25 guests. We can find a location together that is the perfect backdrop for you to start forever with your favorite person.
A special gift (yay free stuff!) will be given to the first couple who books with me at the following venues! :
Accelerator Space
Terrian
Tuckahoe Plantation
2640 Space
Excelsior Space
Camp Puh’tok
…
I love capturing authentic, meaningful moments (all the belly laughs and happy tears) and creating natural, artful portraits that celebrate the true connection you and your partner share. I’m here to be your friend and guide throughout the wedding planning journey. I’m based in Maryland, but have travelled all over. I’ve photographed over 200 weddings and elopements and want to share everything I’ve learned with you! I’d love to read your story in my inbox!
My first portrait session in 2009, my first wedding in 2011, and have been photographing full time since 2014. I am in a position to help other photographers grow their business and master their craft. Ready to book your dream client and make images you’re truly proud of!? If you’re interested in a mentoring session send me a note!
