Remember that time I flew to England for Kasey and Matt’s Eastnor Castle wedding!? Well today I’m finally sharing their photos! (YAS!)
Here are all the juicy deets on Kasey and Matt’s incredible story!:
Kasey and Matt met while protecting wildlife in the jungles of Costa Rica. When their internship ended, Matt returned to England, and Kasey to America. But they couldn’t stay apart. They traveled back and forth, using every visa and vacation the countries would allow. When they ran out of options, the two moved to the only place in the world they could live together: New Zealand.
About halfway through their time there, Matt took Kasey to Milford Sound, one of the most stunning natural landscapes in the world. With Kasey’s family (and about a million tourists) by their side, Matt proposed!
Then Kasey and Matt traveled around Australia and South East Asia all while planning for their wedding in England! On Kasey’s way home, her and her parents made a stop in England to spend time with the new in-laws and do the finishing touches for their wedding.
Kasey then went back to the United States while Matt stayed in England, eagerly waiting the three months until they were reunited to get married in England. It was the last time they were going to have to be in a long distance relationship!
The wedding was truly magical. Set in a small English village, everyone gathered together for the special weekend with half of the guests traveling from the States! Kasey and Matt felt so much love from their families and friends. They couldn’t have pictured their wedding any other way.
After years of travel and long distance, Kasey and Matt could not wait to start their new lives together back in Maryland. They didn’t wait long to add to their family with three little fur babies, two kittens and a puppy!
Side Note: Kasey is not only a total babe but has such an amazing soul. She sprained her ankle during the reception dinner but still danced and walked around on her wedding day! Matt sweetly cared for her throughout the day. (which made for some of my favorite images)
This destination wedding was such a special memory. Fingers crossed I get to return to English countryside again soon!
