Today I am sharing Christina and Hunter’s Historic Ellicott City engagement adventure! They danced on Main Street and got snuggly in the forest on the Trolley Trail. They are getting married at Main Street Ballroom. I am excited to shoot at this new venue because it is within walking distance of my home. I loved photographing this Ellicott City engagement session!
“Hunter and I have been together for a little over two and a half years. We met in college and pretty much fell head over heels for each other. Hunter proposed to me the night before my birthday, December 28th, at the restaurant we went to for our first anniversary. It’s called Mountain Branch and its this adorable golf clubhouse.
The whole place was still decorated for Christmas and was so romantic. He requested a seat right next to their wood fireplace and hid the ring box in a little nook next to the fireplace. The ring box was empty except a little post-it that had a written promise to himself for when he was going to propose to me by. He wrote it two months after we started dating. When I looked up from the note he was on one knee in front of me. I was, of course, crying like a baby as I was reading the note so that was, I’m sure, a lovely sight for him.”
As family centered folks, Christina and Hunter are excited to have their family members and friends come together to celebrate their love and commitment to one another! This will also be the first time that a lot of their family members have met. Christina is close with her sisters, so they will be standing by her side as her “co-maids” of honor. In a few months, these two will celebrate their wedding under the October sky while surrounded by friends and family. I can’t wait to capture all of the magic! In the meantime, here are some of my favorite images from Christina and Hunter’s Ellicott City engagement adventure!
