Elope in Maryland | Best Elopement Locations

May 12, 2020 in Elopements, Weddings

I travel all over for weddings and elopements (and help my couples plan destination adventures!), but I wanted to create a post outlining the best elopement locations for those who want to elope in Maryland!

Here are some questions to consider when figuring out if an elopement is right for ya!

Your big wedding was rescheduled due to the pandemic, but you still want to get married this year?

Looking for a stress-free way to marry your boo?

Want to explore a new location and make forever memories with the person who feels like home?

Looking for a meaningful experience where you do not have to worry about other’s expectations?

Then an elopement will be the perfect option! Meaningful, heartfelt, adventurous, and unique elopement photos are what I’m passionate about creating for you! I’m here to be your guide, friend, and hype girl throughout the elopement experience. Below are some tips that will help you start planning your elopement.

What’s the best time to elope?

Maryland locations that are free to explore and are open to the public can sometimes be crowded. A great way to have a location to yourself is to hold your ceremony at sunrise. If your location is not open at sunrise, then I suggest you pick a weekday for your ceremony. We can photograph you two intimately saying your vows at sunset to capture that magical Maryland glow. Cloudy on your elopement day? Don’t sweat it! Clouds can create beautiful, soft light!

What do I wear?

If you’re holding your elopement in an adventurous location (such as a mountaintop or waterfall) then I suggest you bring a comfy pair of shoes to walk to your ceremony spot! If you already have a wedding gown for your big wedding and are looking for an affordable second wedding dress BHLDN is having some crazy amazing sales right now! Etsy is also a great place to look for unique and affordable wedding dresses.

How much coverage do I need?

Want to keep the celebration going after your ceremony? Plan dinner at your favorite restaurant with just the two of you or with a few loved ones. You could also have a picnic with all of your favorite foods! You deserve artful documentation of the entire story of your elopement day. From getting ready to your post-ceremony celebration! I offer elopement collections that range from ceremony coverage to full day coverage!

Help! I don’t have anyone to marry us!

I got you! My partner Tony is ordained and we’re a one-stop shop for couples! Huzzah!

Can you help me plan my elopement?

I also offer local elopement packages with a bouquet and boutonniere included! Shoot me an email and we can chat about your elopement!
