Karleigh and Tony’s boho garden wedding so dreamy! These two were married on the most amazing October day at a historic venue tucked away in a forest in Baltimore. Gramercy Mansion has been one of my favorite Maryland venues because of it’s cozy vibes and garden exterior! Karleigh and Tony are two incredible humans and it was an honor to capture the honest moments from their day and create their Gramercy Mansion wedding photos! Also- if you haven’t already seen Karleigh and Tony’s adorable Longwood Gardens engagement session, check it out right here!! I’m going to hand the mic to them as they share their story and wedding day reflections:“Tony and I met through the dating app Bumble in October 2016, while both living in downtown Baltimore. Tony had me at ‘world’s best dog dad’ in his profile and his charming dimples. We had our first date at Verde, just a few blocks down the street from my old house in Fells Point (hands down our favorite pizza in the city). Tony said “before the end of the date he was already planning our next one.” We very quickly found ourselves spending all of our time together. I met his family Dec 27, 2016, and a month later he met mine. Within a few months I had almost become a fourth ‘roommate’ at his place. We spent most of our nights out dining, hopping from neighborhood to neighborhood searching for the best food in town. The following year in October 2017 we made the move out of city together to suburban life and both our first time apartment living. We started to make a home together, with our pup Mack, and quite quickly 30+ plant babies.Over the next year we settled in to suburban living. I took a great promotion for work in August 2018, and we made our first trip to Europe together for two weeks in September 2018. On that trip EVERYONE thought Tony was going to propose. Three months later Tony surprised me and proposed on Dec 22, 2018 at LONGWOOD GARDENS! We went with my family, just like we do every year at Christmas. We had spent over an hour and a half there, starting in the conservatory and eventually migrated outside as it started to get dark. As we made our way over to the Italian water garden we went to get a photo and all of a sudden he turned me around with my back to the family and proposed. When I turned back around HIS ENTIRE FAMILY WAS RIGHT THERE TOO! They had been hiding in another area of the gardens for over an hour waiting on us! Fall was our desired time of year to marry so we challenged ourselves and said let’s do this thing in 10 months! Our very first venue visit was Gramercy Mansion and we both fell in love immediately. Naturally we chose Longwood Gardens to go back to for our engagement shoot too! We blew through wedding planning and the day arrived so quickly! We married outdoors in the gardens of Gramercy Mansion on October 25, 2019 with beautiful 69 degree evening air and 148 of our favorite people.Tony’s favorite memory was when I came walking down the aisle. He said “as I came down he began to reflect on all the reasons why he loved me so much.” My favorite moment of the evening occurred seconds before our “I do’s,” when our friend/officiant Matt was interrupted by a massive flock of geese flying overhead. They made themselves quite present as they honked while they flew over. Tony looked up and I proceeded to look out into the crowd of our guests to see everyone in staring up in awe. At cocktail hour one of my cousins jokingly said they were flying in two V’s that almost formed an M for our last name Massoni. That was certainly an unforgettable moment. I was excited to see you were able to capture them on film too! We felt so much love that night. So many of our vendors exceeded our expectations. We had so much fun with everyone. We truly will never forget that night.” Isn’t their story the best?!I loved photographing Karleigh and Tony’s Gramercy Mansion wedding photos! Here are just a few of my favorite images from their boho garden wedding day! |
