Nina and Michael are honestly two are the kindest folks and I am so grateful that our paths crossed. Like so many couples they had to make the hard decision to reschedule their 2020 date and had an intimate ceremony at Promise Ridge last year. With all the reshedules occurring, their original photographer was unavailable for their Winterthur Museum wedding celebration and connected us! It was such an honor to step in and get to know these two and the amazing day they had been planning. I visited their venue Winterthur Museum and Country Estate with Nina before their big celebration and instantly felt inspired the space. The gardens are truly ethereal and the historic architecture is breathtaking.
These two were finally able to celebrate with their family, friends, AND their sweet bun in the oven for their Winterthur Museum wedding! OH MY GOODNESS this was one of the most incredible venues I have ever photographed. Nina was a total babe with her baby bump in her Jenny Yoo gown from the Lovely Bride Philly. (I got my wedding dress at the Lovely Bride D.C. and highly recommend giving them a visit!) Nina and Michael kindly required that every guest be fully vaccinated and even had a rapid test in the welcome bag to ensure they would have a safe event. Bare Ink Co created a boho rose gold invitation suite and a Cottage Gardener’s floral design was unreal. Erin from Proud to Plan was also a dream to work with. (Hiring a planner for your day is a game changer friends!) Nina and Michael included their pups Winston and Millie by gettings in some snuggles with them before the ceremony and naming their signature cocktails after them! Their are so many thoughtful details put into Nina and Michael’s luxe garden wedding at the Winterthur Museum and I’m excited to share my favorites in this post!
